Backend Engineer (Laravel)

About the role

Design the systems Egyptian businesses run on — ERPs, SaaS platforms and integrations with serious uptime requirements. You'll join a 45-person team of engineers, designers and PMs delivering websites, mobile apps, SaaS products and business systems for clients across Egypt and the MENA region.

What you'll do

• Architect and build Laravel applications and REST APIs

• Design PostgreSQL/MySQL schemas that scale

• Integrate payment gateways, ETA e-invoicing and third-party APIs

• Write automated tests and participate in deployment automation

What we're looking for

• 3+ years professional Laravel experience

• Strong SQL and schema design skills

• Experience with queues, caching (Redis) and API auth patterns

• Bonus: e-invoicing / fintech integration experience
