Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
MatterTech for Software Solutions ("MatterTech", "we", "us") is an Egyptian software company headquartered at Building B12, Smart Village, Giza 12577, Egypt. This policy explains what personal data we collect through mattertech.cc and our services, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to align with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL, Law No. 151 of 2020). Last updated: October 1, 2026.
2. Data we collect
Through this website we collect: contact details you submit via our forms (name, email, phone, company, project description); newsletter subscription details (email); and standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected via privacy-respecting analytics. For client engagements we may additionally process project data you choose to share under the agreed NDA and SOW. We do not collect special categories of personal data through this website.
3. Why we collect it
We use your data to: respond to inquiries and prepare quotes; deliver services contracted with you; send the newsletter you subscribed to (every email includes an unsubscribe link); improve our website and content; and meet legal, accounting and security obligations. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties. Data is processed on the legal bases of contract performance, legitimate interest, consent (marketing) and legal obligation.
4. Who processes your data
Your data is processed by our team in Egypt. We use a small number of vetted processors strictly to operate our services — for example hosting and CDN providers, email delivery services and form-processing services — bound by data-processing agreements. Where client projects require it, data can be hosted with in-country data residency options; this is agreed per engagement.
5. How long we keep it
Inquiry and quote correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after last contact. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Client project records are retained for the period required by Egyptian commercial and tax law (generally five to ten years for financial records). Technical/analytics data is kept for a maximum of 14 months.
6. Security
We apply the practices we sell: HTTPS everywhere, encrypted backups, least-privilege access control, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat the data you entrust to us with the same care as our own production systems.
7. Cookies
This website uses a minimal set of cookies: strictly necessary cookies for site functionality and anonymized analytics cookies to understand content performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will continue to work.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction or deletion of it, a copy in a portable format, restriction of or objection to certain processing, and withdrawal of consent for marketing at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@mattertech.cc — we respond within 30 days. If you believe your rights under the PDPL have been violated, you may also lodge a complaint with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Center.
9. Children
Our services are directed at businesses; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
